OUR HISTORY

Fred Monsen established Monsen's Sporting Goods in 1946. Fred moved his business from Western Ontario to Peterborough in the early 60's and David Rye joined the company in 1966, and later purchased Monsen's when Fred retired in 1975. David and Carmen Rye have operated the family business along with their son Daniel and daughter Chantalle to the present.
